Xenoblade 2 Changing Weather
Explore an open world that started the path to greatness with it's later titles Xenoblade X and 2. The battle system blends action rpg with mmo-lite elements. Actually trying to change the weather (to rain, blizzard) gets annoying too, but you don't need that too often. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Special Edition - Nintendo Switch. Dec 01, 2017 Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is a game that impresses by its size and its ambition. After more than 160 hours necessary to complete 100% of the game I can say that it is a gift for any fan of RPGs, being one of the most impressive games to have in the first year of a console.
Hey everyone, a lot of people actually voted yes on the poll so here I am! In this post, I'm gonna be going over the best build in the game i'd say. Without further ado, lets go!

So what IS this build?
As much as I love Pyra I gotta say Mythra takes the spotlight in terms of being OP. Mythra has the amazing ability of 'Lightspeed Flurry' in which she recharges her arts fully if she crits with them. There's also an accessory in which makes you heal a % of hp based on crit dmg. Combine this with the specific equipment I'm about to tell you and you can literally just facetank anything as rex. Just be prepared to hear 'DOUBLE SPINNING EDGE' every second. Lets get into step 1.
Step 1
Step 1 is to fully max out Mythras affinity chart. This way you have access to all of her abilties and max out her trust as much as possible for max damage. Once you max out her affinity chart she will be at rank 'S'. For those who don't know, you can actually go beyond that all the way to S+ by further increasing trust. I'll get more into this later tho. Rank S is perfectly fine for now.
Step 2
Now that you have Mythra maxed out, lets get into the equipment. There is one piece of equipment that is ESSENTIAL to this build and its actually very easy to get. The rest I have personal recomendations for, but a lot of things work. So, you want to farm for the accessory 'Avante-Garde Medal'. This accessory is amazing! You heal 20-22% of all critical damage dealt and as often as you're gonna be critting..yeah. Hell chances are you might already have one in your inventory from exploring the World Tree.
Skip travel to this point above in the world tree and farm the 4 enemies you find there.
Farm those goons until you get the Medal. Once you have the medal, your main part of the build is complete so nice! However you still gotta get the right accessory to compliment it. Immediately after getting the medal, go to the top area of Gormott (Zeno's deadbole NW Cave) and farm the lvl 70 Ruffian Bunnits for the 'Optical Headband' accessory which increases critical damage by 50% so in turn, more healing. There are two other accessories you can replace this with depending on what you want and I will go over them.
---Keep in mind ths is optional if you want something a lil different----
1. First is the 'World Tree Drop'. You receive this accessory by finishing the main story and or defeating the lvl 130 superboss. This accessory gives you a 10-12% damage increase per blade switch with a cap of 250%. If you want to equip fast blade switch AUXs on your blades and just swap them around to build yourself up, its an amazing way to do damage, I just like the convenience of the headband. Although this is indeed the definitive way to max out dps.
2. The second accessory is a lot more easy to use and is more useful if you just want to solo stuff. The accessory is 'Bloody Orb' which gives you a 160% damage increase if your party member is incapacitated. The Bloody Orb is dropped from Praetorian Argus in the world tree. The strat here is to go in with just two, let your party member die, then dps like crazy!
Step 3
Now that you have Mythra maxed AND the right accessories, you're almost done! The last thing you need are the right Chips and AUX Cores. Again, like the second accessory, you can change these to about anything that sounds good but I have a recomendation. Also, this is gonna be split into two parts.
AUX Cores
You want two specific AUX Cores on Mythra. Critical Up 5 and Outdoor attack 5. Why? Well critical up 5 ensures Mythra has over a 50% crit chance, ensuring more dps and heals. Outdoor attack helps because 90% of your fights are outdoors and it compliments Mythras lvl 4 special well too. You can get the first core by farming Zeoth Serponds in temperentia, and the second by farming the high level Squid enemies that spawn in Tantal Cloudy Weather.
--other cores you can use if you want--
Arts heal 5 - Obtainable from most high level unique monsters or superbosses (more healing)
Fast Blade switch - Obtainable from merc missions or high level unique monsters (for world tree drop mainly)
Chips
So, now that you have everything else all you need if your chip! Dont fret this is actually really easy. You're looking for the 'Moon Matter Chip' dropped by Cloud Sea King Ken, a lvl 110 superboss found during cloudy weather in lower part of Tantal. This chip gives the best critical hit rate in the entire game! Its really useful for Mythra. Don't be intimidated by it though, its REALLY easy. As long as you have Nia and a Solid tank, preferably Morag cause she can evade, you will be fine. At lvl 99 it really isn't that hard so if you wanna play it safe go ahead!
Final Step
Welp, that's it! Thats all you need to actually get the build going. This last step is simply going over ways to enhance it. I mentioned before that you should max out Mythra and get her to rank S trust. If you want to go overboard, feed her a TON of items to increase her trust to S+. This will ultimately increase her auto attack damage to about 1400 (as seen in pic) which also increases overall damage from arts and specials too. More damage = more heals = easier time.
The very last thing are Pouch items, which is super simple! Buy the Plumbers Escape Game from Mor Ardain and Narcipear Jelly from Argentum. These are two very good pouch items that top off this op build.
End
Dammmmmmmn that was a lot and honestly super fun to make! Hopefully I helped some of you out! If so, let me know if you'd like more stuff like this.
Also, if any pics look familiar I used pics from a multitude of videos looking up stuff
Till next time, Bai!
